Sexual Health Consultations

An alternative to ongoing psychotherapy

You have questions about your sexual health. You deserve real answers. Many sexual health and functioning concerns don't require ongoing therapy — they require good information, a professional perspective, and a plan. That's exactly what a Sexual Health Consultation provides.

In a single appointment, we'll explore your concerns, assess whether your symptoms meet criteria for a specific condition, and begin to develop a personalized roadmap — strategies to try, resources to read, and referrals to other professionals if needed. Within about two weeks, you’ll receive a written resource packet summarizing our discussion and your next steps.

What people bring to these appointments

  • Questions about sexual functioning or response

  • Concerns about desire, pleasure, or pain

  • Uncertainty about whether what they’re experiencing is “normal”

  • A desire to enhance or explore their sexual lives

  • Questions they’ve never felt comfortable asking anyone else

What to expect

Consultations are a minimum of two hours and are available to individuals or partners together. During our session I’ll provide psychoeducation, strategies, bibliotherapy recommendations, and referrals as needed. If your concerns suggest that ongoing therapy would be more beneficial, I’ll tell you — and I’ll also provide resources for those who aren’t able to pursue that route.

Following our appointment, you’ll receive a written resource packet summarizing our conversation and recommendations.
